Holiness of Jerusalem - A/Nahnu Mt. Scopus Interfaith Encounter Group in April 2009:

After Pesach and Easter, we gathered and discussed the competition for holiness in Jerusalem, in the three monotheist religions.

Our friend Melham introduced us with texts from the Tanah, from the New Testament and from the Quran. We also read some other sources that deal with the holiness of Jerusalem, and the difference between the "upper Jerusalem" and the earthly one.

On the 5th of May we are expecting a lecture of Dr. Oktar Babuna and Dr. Cihat Gundogdu, from Istanbul, that will tell us about their Muslim faith and its connections with Judaism.
