Sawa Rabina Interfaith Encounter on
29th December 2008 and Work Plan for 1st Half of 2009:
Encounter of Sawa Rabina on December 29th
The encounter focused on preparations for the activity on January 24th when
the group will hold an encounter between High School students of the three
communities, escorted throughout by pairs of Sawa Rabina members.
The members of the group were briefed by Ms. Nada Abu Zaidan, Coordinator of
Society and Community in the Cultural Center and got the time-table from the
secretary of the group.
The group members were happy towards this activity in the schools and
expressed their hope that many students and teacher will participate. We
agreed to meet again on January 17th to continue planning and updating.
20 of the group's members took part in this encounter and 7 apologized.
